12 hours to create the future energy system of horticultural industry.
The horticulture sector consumed 9% of the total gas used in the Netherlands, corresponding to 3.15 billion cubic meters of natural gas for 2021. The energy dependence of this industry is not unique, after all, we can relate to this sector’s crisis when we face our exploding heating and electricity bills.
This hackathon is an opportunity to turn this crisis around, an opportunity that we can utilize to not only learn about where does our local food come from, but also re-design the gas dependent supply chain of the horticultural industry.
Are you up for this challenge?
Then, join us on the 11th of January at the Green Village, where together with a selected group of industry experts and TU Delft professors we will hack the energy crisis of horticulture.
