Energy Debate

Moderated by Jan Peter Balkenende

How does sustainability affect your future?

In recent years the debate about sustainability and energy transition has become more and more important. These keywords seem to pop up everywhere in major corporations and in your study. But what do they really mean for you?

In collaboration with Students4Sustainability, AIESEC Delft organizes the Energy Debate.

At the Energy Debate Delft, a few well-known names from the business, politics and social sector discuss problems about sustainability and energy transition, especially those relevant for the technical student interested in the future.

The leading theme for the debate will be the Sustainable Development Goals, as composed by the United Nations. Of these 17 SDG’s, the 5 most relevant for technical students are selected for discussion:

- 9: Industry, innovation and infrastructure

- 11: Sustainable cities and communities

- 12: Responsible consumption and production

- 13: Climate action

- 17: Partnerships for the goals
