FLEXINet organizes a symposium on the impact of realizing hybrid storage. In FLEXINet, a hybrid energy storage system is being built at district level. Hybrid storage is created by heat storage and different battery technologies including electrical vehicle and innovative underground power electronics. A demo is in preparation at The Green Village, TU Delft Campus.

Currently, there are two knowledge gaps: the current state of the art of storage technologies and integral hybrid storage. At this symposium, an overview is given of solutions that are being developed.
